Alexander North
Working in the law throughout his studies, Alexander North was admitted as a solicitor in June 2020. In July of 2021, Alexander left his role as a solicitor at a specialist family law firm to become an associate to, now, Justice Jarrett of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1). Alexander’s time in the role exposed him to matters from both his Honour’s service as a judge hearing general federal law and family matters in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, and his Honour’s role as a specialist family court judge.
Alexander accepts briefs in all areas of law, but has a particular interest in family, bankruptcy, tax and crime. He holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts with an extended major in English Literature.
